Hole 9 / Par 4
The ninth hole is one of natural beauty. At 385 yards, it places less of a premium on distance but requires utmost accuracy. From the tee, placement on the right side of the fairway is challenged by a creek running along the right side. A hooked shot from the tee runs into danger with a longer approach and possibly, an out-of-bounds penalty. The green is nestled among hardwoods that provide a natural backdrop for the approach to this nine. The golfer should be cautioned to check the wind direction in approaching this green, as swirling winds may cause havoc on lofted shots.
